The Cash App isn't your traditional bank account. The Cash App card is also not linked directly to your private bank account. Instead, it is connected to your balance on this app. So, if you want to add physical cash or make a paper money deposit, you can do so by visiting a participating retailer.


Use these guidelines to determine the closest paper money deposit spot and add physical cash to your Cash App Card.


● On the smartphone, locate Cash App. Open it.

● Touch the ‘Banking’ tab on the app’s home screen.

● Below it, choose ‘Paper money.’

● You will find various nearby locations.

● If there’s a particular address or store you want to go to, use the search bar to find it.

● After determining this location, use the directions that the app gives through the map on your phone.

● Now, go to the in-store location.

● Head over to where the cashier is sitting and ask them to add the desired amount of money into your account.

● Sometimes, the cashier will not understand what loading funds into the Cash App means.

● If that happens, open ‘Banking’ followed by ‘Paper money’ on the Cash App.

The limits that Cash App places for depositing paper money in store


You cannot deposit more than $1000 per rolling weekly or seven days. Also, Cash App limits you to $4000 per rolling month, or 30 days. You must put in a sum of $5. Going over a deposit of $500 for every transaction is also not possible.


What If You Can't Find the Paper Money Option on the Cash App?


As you know, adding or loading cash to your Cash App from the above retail stores is a seamless process. However, sometimes, users cannot find the ‘Paper money’ option on the app. So, they cannot load money onto their apps.
